Dry erase board out of a picture frame

I purchased a few cheap 12×16 picture frames from Wal-mart for $3.00 a piece and brought them home, cut out scrapbook paper and attached it to the inside of the frame. I used double sided tape to stick the 12×12 sheets together then just cut off the remaining amount of paper before I attached it to the inside of the frame.

I have seen these all over lately and decided to make a few. I have seen them used for grocery lists, caledars, or just for a Honey do list 😉

I added some ribbon and rosettes just to spice them up a little bit. I also used my cricut and cut out some vinyl lettering and slapped that on the front of the glass. You could use different quotes but I thought giving these away as a “list” dry erase board would be cute.

As you can see I also attache a dry erase marker to the side with velcro. I put the velcro on the cap of the marker so if you wanted to switch it out you wouldn’t have to put new velcro on you could just switch the marker out but keep the same lid.

Here are a few I made. I always have to make one for my sister of course! These make great, simple, fast gifts!
I added a few magnets onto the back of mine and it is used on my Refridgerator. My sister hung her’s on the wall in her kitchen!

I love the one I made- my suggestion is to chose the background paper very light. My dry erase markers don’t show too well because I chose a darker color as a background.
