You’re So Invited
Panic less, Play more and get your party on! Everyone who knows me well knows that I love to host parties. I love get togethers, preparing, planning and carrying out the perfect party. I Love to host around the holidays and will start my planning months before the event just to make sure it is perfect. I am always looking for tips and tricks to make my parties less stressful and more enjoyable for myself and others. Last year at Christmas time I hosted an ugly sweater hot cocoa type party that turned out to be a success! But, without planning it wouldn’t have been as successful. That is where author Cheryl Najafi comes in. She is the Author of the party and planning book called “You’re so Invited” This book is full of Party tips, Decorating ideas, Fook and drink recipes and Advice on how to learn the art of being the happiest host ever!
“I know the concept of throwing a party and wanting everything to be just so. You want to wow your guests, and have them leave thinking you’re the super hero host of the world. And that’s all good and great, but it’s a ton of pressure. Bringing people into your home is such a personal thing. I know it is easier said than done, but try not to take it too seriously and just have fun with it. After all, they’re your good friends and want you to succeed, right?” – Cheryl Najafi
She includes 7 rules for throwing a party without wanting to throw yourself off a ledge in this 191 page book. Cheryl covers every type of party and how to handle it from bridal showers, to baby showers, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, and Christmas she covers it all! I give this book two thumbs up for creativity and because it inspires me to be a better hostess. The book includes pictures of her ideas and step by step instructions on how to unwind so you too can enjoy the party. Hosting a party is not about stressing out duing the buzz of the holiday season but to carve out time to spend with those we love.
