Burlap Framed Christmas Art
I’m telling you this is the year of Burlap for me! Last night I needed some craft Therapy. For some reason crafting gets me out of my funk and back into my groove. We started pinning to our own secret craft board on Pinterest of crafts that made the cut and we were going to make. This next project made that final cut!
I went dashing through the snow to my Friends house and she already had the frames painted and ready to go. She used the remaining casing from when she finished her basement to put the frames together. These frames are quite large the opening where the burlap is runs approx. 14 1/2″ x 17″
We took particle board that was cut to the same size of the opening of the frame and wrapped it in burlap once the burlap was all glued into place the freezer paper template was ironed on and we painted away! It was a fairly quick project… but then again my friend did most of the leg work before I even got to her house! Thanks Krystal!
Credit goes to the inspiration behind this project. Thank you Denise on a Whim for sharing your sweet, cute idea with us!!
