Recently Avry and I went to eat at a local mom & pop type restaurant. When they asked for our drink order my husband decided to get a lemonade. Most restaurants have a few different flavors usually strawberry, raspberry or peach are most common. When our waiter rattled off about 10 different flavors, we were amazed! My husband is a huge fan of anything coconut. When we heard the waiter say coconut Lemonade that was automatically his first choice. When they brought out this coconut lemonade Avry and I were both very interested in what it tasted like. So, my husband was kind enough to share a sip with both of us and man I was sold! It was so good! After he had finished the first one Avry told our waiter that my husband need a refill! Our waiter was amazing he actually brought Avry one of her own for free! After this experience we were both on a mission to recreate this tasty drink! I came home and got to work mixing and finding out the right amounts to give this lemonade that hint of coconut!
It only takes 2 ingredients and about 3 minutes to mix up this tasty coconut lemonade! You will need coconut syrup (I used the Torani brand) But I’m sure your own personal favorite brand or even a homemade coconut syrup will work. The Lemonade mix I used is the Country Time Lemonade premixed powder. You could also use a frozen concentrate, homemade, or your own favorite brand.
First fill a 2 quart pitcher with water, measure the premixed powder to the 2 quart line in the lid and pour it into the water. Mix the powder and water until it is completely dissolved. Next add 2/3 cup coconut syrup, and mix well. Serve over ice!
- 2 quarters water
- Pre-mixed lemonade powder
- ⅔ Cup Coconut syrup
- Fill a pitcher with 2 quarts water, measure and add premixed lemonade powder to the water. Add ⅔ cup coconut syrup and mix until lemonade powder is dissolved.
