Looking for a small, easy gift idea for those girlfriends? This is the easiest and simplest Candy Cane Bath Salts tutorial you will ever find!

Candy Cane Bath Salts

First, gather the containers you will be using to give your gift of bath salts in. I found little unused brand new glass jars at a garage sale last Summer.

Next, Purchase some Epsom Salt and Peppermint essential oil.  Since this is just a simple & easy bath salt I didn’t want the fizz that goes with a bath bomb so I opted out of using baking soda or any other ingredients. If I could buy just Peppermint Epsom salt I would!

Per every cup of Epsom Salt you will use 4 to 5 drops of peppermint essential oil.

Yep! That is the recipe – it is that simple. You can add red food coloring and layer it to give it a candy cane look. Mix the Salt and Oil really well then use a funnel to pour your Candy Cane bath salt into the jar of your choice.

Look how cute this little jar is filled with the Candy Cane bath salts! This is such a simple and cheap gift idea. I love how Epsom salt and peppermint soothe my body, open up my sinuses and make me feel rejuvenated!

To finish off this gift I jumped online and found this darling Candy Cane Bath salt printable that was perfect for my tiny jars! She also includes her own peppermint bath salt recipe that is a little different than mine. But I am sure heavenly too! So happy she shared the printable with us! I love other bloggers who are willing to share their creativity!

Ta-da! Look how beautiful they turned out! – I added a little baker’s twine to attach my tags.
