Make your own 20 minute fall Deco Mesh Wreath
20 minute fall deco mesh wreath
I love the look of the Deco mesh wreath’s. I really never thought about making one, until a friend asked me to help her with one. Doing a little research online I found a really amazing tutorial on Big Bear’s Wife The base only takes about 20 minutes to put together. Then decorate and glue in anything you desire.
Here are 2 wreath’s we made for fall. The first one, I hung a folded paper wreath I made over top. The second one, I made the happy fall sign to place in the center of the open circle. I used a piece of leftover flooring and simply added vinyl, I cut using the silhouette machine. Then outlined it in some glitter.
The supplies you will need to make one include:
1 – A wreath Form
2 – pipe cleaners (to attach the mesh to the form)
3 – minimum of 2 extra type’s of ribbon
4 – Any embellishments you would like to glue into your base.
If you have all your supplies, scissors, wire cutters and glue ready then once you get a rhythm going this project goes pretty fast! It turns out darling in the end. due to my preference of more ribbon than less it makes the end product a lot fuller!
Ultimately the sign above adds to the overall wreath! the sky is the limit when it comes to adding simple embellishments to it. Do you hang a wreath on your front door in the Fall? Have you used Deco Mesh in decorating your home for the holidays? Do you have any fun ideas to share how you have used the mesh? We would love to hear them!
