June is just around the corner and so is Summer, beaches, pools, sun, drinks and music! There is nothing more perfect than a nice ice cold Coca-Cola™ on a hot Summer’s day! 

Have you ever noticed that music always seems to be playing during those moments? Whether it be during a neighborhood barbecue, lounging in a pool side chair or kicking your feet up in the sand it seems that music is always nearby. Summer is full of fun events so why not incorporate music and a Coca-Cola into your summer fun?

Coca-Cola™ has introduced their “Share a Coke and a Song”  bottles and it has been an adventure seeing all the different songs on the backs of their cans and bottles. I found these awesome Coca-Cola cans with fun lyrics to songs on the back of the can at my local CVS Pharmacy.  They were located in the Beverage section of the store along a back wall. The sign was huge and said beverage right above the cooler so you can’t miss it! Best part about this is CVS is an easy and fast way to shop! This is one of my favorite places to shop because their signs are so big you know exactly where to go! I also love that their beverages are all kept cold – So I can drink it as soon as I get back into my car!

How many times do we see or hear songs and find ourselves singing the song out loud? Prepping for a Barbeque and after seeing “I’m proud to be an American” on the back of the can I found myself humming the song to myself. The song brought me back to one of my favorite memories of sitting on my blanket along the banks of the great Snake River in Idaho. It was an annual family gathering on the 4th of July and we would watch the amazing firework display over the water while listening to this song and sipping on a soda. I would sit back and listen to the music and think to myself “This is the best summer ever!”  I love how the lyrics on the back of this can brought back  such a fun childhood memory like that!

 I thought of all the fun ways that I could share these great “Share a Coke and a Song”  bottles with my friends, Co-workers and Family members this Summer and came up with some fun Printables to share with my readers! First off for those Coca-Cola lovers I used the lyrics “Hit me with your Best shot”  from that ever so popular song and attached it with a fun straw and some ribbon!~ I can’t wait to give this to one of my friends! To finish out the school year my daughters will be giving their friends a Coca-Cola share a coke and a song drink with a fun summer tag attached! Reminding them to “Sip, Smile and Sing their Summer away”! (This is also a free printable we are sharing with you! See at the bottom of the post)

But before we finish out the school year we will have our annual Memorial weekend trip to a local hot springs and I am not going to forget to bring along my Coca-Cola! Meet me by the pool and bring your singing voice!
