Just add Ice Cream Quick and Easy Gift Basket

Check out this adorable Ice Cream Gift Basket that I put together for a friend. I knew her Birthday was coming up so I wanted to do something inexpensive yet fun and tasty for her to not only enjoy for herself but for her family to enjoy also.

I’ll show you how easy this basket was to put together. First the basket was given to me for free! It has the perfect handles and large enough to put several items in it. I could have painted it but I chose to leave it natural.

The Dollar store is a great place to find inexpensive items and that is where I found the cute ice cream cups .

I set the cups in the basket along the back then filled in all sorts of toppings around the cups. The toppings for ice cream included a jar of cherries, hot fudge, sprinkles and some chocolate chips. A sleeve of actual cones were added just in case someone wanted a cone.

While assembling the basket I knew I had to find something to doll it up a bit so I went on a hunt for the perfect printable for this basket and sure enough I stumbled across these cute free printables over at  Sarah M Style blog

If you can see the little tags there are cute sayings on them. Add to some of these tags to items in the Gift Basket.

Pick out the ribbon to tie at the top of the cellophane and you are done! Here is a close up of the finished basket right before I delivered it to her.  The total for this gift came to less than $10.00.
