Beadboard accent frame

I have had a picture of the Bountiful Temple hanging above my fireplace for some time now. It was a picture that a good friend of mine did for me and gave me for Christmas a few years ago after I had gone through the temple.  I have been wanting to add some color to my living room so I decided to somehow accent this picture with color.

I took a piece of beadboard and cut it 4′ wide by 3′ tall.   Then had my husband add a small frame around the exterior of it.

Once this was completed I went to town on painting it.

Then once dry I hung it behind my picture of the temple. It was a pretty fast process but added so much more depth to my picture. I also like that it added some color to my living room.

So I have to tell you the funniest story. So I pinned this on pinterest. I clicked on it and it took me to your website. But I had no clue it was your website. I showed brandon and said look how cute! Then I was teasing him and asked him why he couldn’t make me stuff like that, her husband makes her cute stuff. Then he asked me who it was and I said I don’t know it’s just cute. Then I looked a little closer and realized it was you!! Made us both laugh. To bad that handy man skill doesn’t run in the family! I love it. You never cease to amaze!

That is funny Stacy! Did I not ever tell you about my website? I should be more proactive about posting all the things we make. Justin is honestly awesome when it comes to helping me create what crazy things come up in my head!
