Box of Sunshine care package -

I know if you’ve been on Pinterest you’ve seen this fun idea! It is a “Box of sunshine” that is filled with bright and fun treats, trinkets and fun quotes! My son is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and he has been gone a little over 19 months. We don’t get to see him and we only get to talk to him twice a year!!! Thank goodness he can email one day a week 🙂 Spring is here and I wanted to send him a little something to bring happiness and sunshine to his day! P.S. you could do this for Missionaries, College student, Military or anyone who is far from home.

So I compiled a cute “Sunshine” box.

The girls and I went to the store and rounded up all sorts of items that were yellow. In our package we included:

Sunny Delight

Lemon Heads

Juicy Fruit Gum

Swedish Fish (the box is yellow)

Butterfingers

Kleenex

Peanut M&M’s

Yellow Play-doh

Glow sticks

A yellow smiley faced splat ball
