Bunny Silhouette Pillow

Bunny Silhouette Pillow

Bunny Silhouette pillow

This was a fun little project that was fast and easy. I used the envelope pillow method to make the white base pillow cover, then I found a silhouette of a bunny using a Google image search. I used the trace feature on my silhouette machine to create my Image and then cut out a paper template of the bunny. I pinned the paper template onto my green floral patterned fabric and cut around it. If you have wonder under or fusible webbing you could apply it onto the bunny and iron the bunny onto your pillow and be done with the pillow. However, I didn’t have any fusible webbing and I didn’t feel like driving to the fabric store to get some. So, I chose to pin the bunny silhouette onto my fabric square and stich around the outer edge to tack the bunny onto the pillow I gave it one last ironing before putting a pillow inside of it.  I trimmed off the majority of the thread strands but forgot to do the bottom oops!  Overall I do love how simple fresh and clean it looks!
