Burlap Christmas Tree door or wall hanging

Yep! The burlap stuff has got me hooked! I did this project with my close girlfriend and between the two of us we whipped about 7 or 8 of these up! Mainly for gifts for family or friends.

The template was a bit of a pain and we both gave a stab at drawing it up. We wanted more of a whimsical turned up look to the branches so trying to get it even was interesting.. but in the end she is much more artistic when it comes to templates then I am. I sat on the floor and cut one after another after another after another..
Then she would sew them up and when she was done I would stuff them. It is amazing how fast you can create something when you work as a team.

Another thing I like about these is their imperfections. The sewing is not perfect but you can get away with that on burlap projects because they are fun and rustic! Super cute don’t you think??

I have some wood stars that have been cut out they just need painted and glittered for the top! I’ll update the pictures if I ever get that accomplished 😉
