Summer Lovin’ watermelon sign
Always having a piece of wood painted comes in handy. Especially when making this Summer Lovin’ watermelon sign. My first piece of advice when crafting is always to have square wood pieces cut, painted and ready to go. This piece is an easy make when you already have pre-painted wood blocks or boards. There are a lot of free SVG’s you can find online. I look on Pinterest and google. Find an SVG of a Watermelon, which font you want to use and watch a cute sign come together.

Large Four Foot Christmas tree family sign
This Christmas tree family décor sign was quite the feat to make. My mother fell in love with this phrase and so wanting to surprise her with a fun Christmas gift . As you know by now I love to do things as cheaply as possible! I could have made this into a small sign but Krystal had an old billboard she had acquired on the side of her house. She was kind enough to cut a 4 foot section off of the end of it and since the backing was wood I just used the back of the billboard. If you flip this Christmas tree family sign and look…

When hitting the stores these pumpkins were being snatched up and they were hard to come by. Since then more stores have started carrying them because they are so popular. Bathroom Floating shelves
We have several Floating Shelves in our home and these were made by my husband in February of 2021. During the winter my husband goes a little stir crazy as he loves being outdoors so during the winter months I try to give him projects to work on. Here is one of the projects! I love Shanty 2 Chic and all their creative wood projects. The plans are easy to follow by using this tutorial on making floating shelves. Although, changing the dimensions on our shelves. We also did not use our Kreg Jig. We felt that there was no need to as all the nails and holes were inside…

Repurposing an old door for the front porch
I obtained this old door through a friend’s friend. Ha-ha! That probably sounds a little confusing but somehow it ended up at my house and I thought to myself “This has potential”. Although, I didn’t know what I would end up doing with it once I got it all done I knew it would still be darling! First, I wiped and sanded the entire door down then wiped it again. Then I puttied the holes, dings and dents and let dry overnight. I then sanded the putty spots and smoothed them out. I next, taped off the center of the door and painted it gray. No, I did not put…

Octagon Bee Happy wood Signs
This project is definitely one that is fun for summer! Check out these Bee Happy wood Signs with an Emphasis on the “Bee” part. Bee’s are fun to decorate the home with especially if they are Honey Bee’s. I’ve seen a lot of bee décor pop up over the past few years and thought it would be fun to jump on board. Using any type of wood is fine for this project you will just need a saw to cut the octagon shape. Using any other shape will work too but we think the Octagon was something unique and different. The size of the sign is also up to the…

Patriotic 4th of July Sign
During one of our yard sale trips, we were able to find 2 cabinet doors that were painted and finished with handles. I had originally thought this navy blue one would make a great tray. With the upcoming 4th of July holiday, I changed my mind and thought it would look classy with a nice patriotic saying on it. That is how the idea of the Patriotic 4th of July Sign came to be. We always love finding items that are mostly finished and then adding our own touch to them. what kind of items do you look for at yard sales or thrift stores? Check out the video below…

Old fashioned Denim USA Banner
For some reason I have a ton of old Denim jeans laying around my house. My son is incredibly hard on pants and often tears or splits the seams. Throwing away good fabric is not something I like to do especially when just the seam ripped out. Saving them for over a year, I finally decided I need to come up with a project to use some of them. This is where my idea came in to play to create an Old Fashioned Denim USA Banner. To create your own Old fashioned Denim USA Banner you will need: Old Denim Jeans Cuttle bug machine and banner die cut/ or paper…
