Summer Lovin’ watermelon sign
Always having a piece of wood painted comes in handy. Especially when making this Summer Lovin’ watermelon sign. My first piece of advice when crafting is always to have square wood pieces cut, painted and ready to go. This piece is an easy make when you already have pre-painted wood blocks or boards. There are a lot of free SVG’s you can find online. I look on Pinterest and google. Find an SVG of a Watermelon, which font you want to use and watch a cute sign come together.

Follow along on how to make Christmas blocks! If you see in the photo below you can see how I used the little red truck block to add to a small tiered tray. To create your own Christmas blocks you will need: 2″ by 4″ pine wood boards – We use whatever scraps we can find. This Christmas tree family décor sign was quite the feat to make. My mother fell in love with this phrase and so wanting to surprise her with a fun Christmas gift . We have several Floating Shelves in our home and these were made by my husband in February of 2021. Repurposing an old door for the front porch
I obtained this old door through a friend’s friend. Ha-ha! That probably sounds a little confusing but somehow it ended up at my house and I thought to myself “This has potential”. Although, I didn’t know what I would end up doing with it once I got it all done I knew it would still be darling! First, I wiped and sanded the entire door down then wiped it again. This project is definitely one that is fun for summer! Check out these Bee Happy wood Signs with an Emphasis on the “Bee” part. During one of our yard sale trips, we were able to find 2 cabinet doors that were painted and finished with handles. I had originally thought this navy blue one would make a great tray. Old fashioned Denim USA Banner
For some reason I have a ton of old Denim jeans laying around my house. My son is incredibly hard on pants and often tears or splits the seams.
