Celebrate Spring – DIY Wood Round Décor
Join us in creating your own Celebrate Spring – DIY Wood Round Décor. You can also turn this into a door hanging by adding two screws and wire to the back. I would recommend at least an 18″ round if you are planning on putting it on your front door. Supplies Needed: We used a 12″ round pine board that we found at the dollar store. I know you can find different sizes and types of wood at either Lowe’s or Home Depot. Michael’s also carries them. At the top of our flowers we removed the wording on their file and used our own phrase of “Celebrate Spring”. You can use the…

4th of July Fabric stuffed stars
The 4th of July is coming up and my tiered tray needs some fun red, white and blue décor. Follow along to see how I made these 4th of July Fabric stuffed stars. First, you’ll want to gather some fabric. Color schemes of Red, White and Blue. I used printed fabric, mainly because it is what I had on hand and I didn’t have to go out and buy any. Take some paper and draw a star onto the paper, whatever size you would like. I stuck to the main center of my star being about the same size as the palm of my hand. You don’t need any special…

Old fashioned Denim USA Banner
For some reason I have a ton of old Denim jeans laying around my house. My son is incredibly hard on pants and often tears or splits the seams. Throwing away good fabric is not something I like to do especially when just the seam ripped out. Saving them for over a year, I finally decided I need to come up with a project to use some of them. This is where my idea came in to play to create an Old Fashioned Denim USA Banner. To create your own Old fashioned Denim USA Banner you will need: Old Denim Jeans Cuttle bug machine and banner die cut/ or paper…

3-D Framed Wood Pumpkin
Check out how I made this 3-D Framed Wood Pumpkin. I love to turn other people’s trash into treasures! Sometimes other people don’t see the value in items like I do. Going to yard sale’s and find things for fairly cheap to make new again is one of my favorite past times. Finding this cute turquoise chicken wireframe at a yard sale for .25 got me really excited and knew I couldn’t pass it up. At the time of the purchase I had no idea what I would use it for. A few months later I purchased a 3-D wooden pumpkin for $1.00. The size of the pumpkin fit perfectly…

The Coming Of Fun Fitness VR
The Coming Of Fun Fitness VR Though few really think of “tech fitness” as its own category, many are beginning to recognize that crossovers between the two can result in great fun and great workouts. Whether by tapping into a mobile program like “Zombies, Run!” (a fun little game that inspires you to run by informing you via audio that zombies are catching up to you), or getting into a Just Dance game, there are all sorts of different ways already that we can entertain ourselves and exercise at the same time, thanks to technology. The general idea is that just as a fitness component can make a game more…
