Checked Twice wooden sign

checked twice

I am still loving the vintage Christmas designs.  I was really into them last year and nothing has changed.  One of my favorite blogs right now is Fynes designs.  She has very classic taste and I have been loving all of her vintage design ideas.   The idea for this Checked twice board came from her Personalized Santa sacks.   I wasn’t wanting to make the sacks but fell in love with her design on the sacks.  She is offering a free download on the design.  I downloaded the design and then decided to only use part of the design.  I painted a wooden board that measures 9″ by 5″ a cream color.  I adjusted the design to fit my size of board.  Next I cut the design using my personal cutting machine out of a deep red vinyl.  I applied the vinyl off to one side, leaving room to attach some ribbon and a jewel.  This was such a fun quick project.  I ended up giving it away at a girls night holiday party.
