Classy White 4×4 Wood Pumpkins

I love these 4×4 pumpkins. I have seen them decorated in so many different styles and colors. In fact, many years ago I made a set that was orange with dots and other designs you can see them here. I had several different sized pieces of 4×4 wood to create something with. I knew I wanted new pumpkins but, I wanted them to be classy and timeless. In the end, I painted them white added a few ribbons, and aged/distressed the wood.

To create your own Classy white 4×4 wood pumpkins you will need:

4×4 wood posts cut into desired lengths

wooden dowel or tree branch cut into 2″ to 3″ length

white, brown and, black paint

paint brushes

ribbon of your choice

Start by painting your wood 4×4 posts white and allow to dry.

Mix brown and black paint with water to create a faux stain. Follow directions on how to glaze or age wood from a previous post here. After the glaze is dry hot glue your dowel and tree branch onto the top center of your 4×4 wood post to create a stem.

Add desired ribbons around the stem.

I love that these classy white 4×4 wood pumpkins can be used from September through Thanksgiving. How do you like to decorate for fall?
