DIY Bathroom Cabinet with Mirror
DIY Bathroom Cabinet with Mirror
I saw this idea on Pinterest and luckily the person who pinned it did linked the pin to the correct website! I was in love with this cabinet the second I saw it. I have a lot of storage space in my bathroom but mostly drawers. Every once in a while a soap or lotion will tip over and spill. I hate it! Plus I cannot see all my bath and shower gel scents without having to lift them up out of the drawer.
I showed this cabinet to my husband and he told me it was “do able” I was elated! I have learned that if I show my husband EXACTLY what I want he will create it.
Shanty 2 Chic had step by step instructions which made the project so much easier! Thank you to them for sharing their tutorial with us!
Here it is in progress!
I had a very small wall walking into my bathroom / closet area that I put the cabinet on. It fit perfect! If I put it next to my cabinets like she did in her’s my drawers wouldn’t have opened all the way so I chose to put it across from my vanity. I purchased some Oil Rubbed bronze knobs to match the rest of the knobs in my
I had my husband configure my shelves a to accommodate all of my lotions and shower gels. I had him do the top and bottom shelves taller for taller items. I added a shelf or two and spaced them to fit my bath items. After a few years this baby has become 100% full
Building this cabinet freed up a TON of space in my drawers. I feel so much more organized and now my curling irons etc. have more space in the drawers! I love stained wood so I stained it using Minwax – Dark Walnut Stain which you can find on Amazon!
Not to mention I FINALLY have a full length mirror in my bathroom! Enough to motivate me to jump on the treadmill this morning!
Thanks to my hubby! I smiled the entire time I filled this cabinet with all my bath lovelies!!

Of the 4 hinges on the left side, why are 3 black or dark and the top one looks brass? I don’t believe it’s the lighting as it looks the same in both pictures.
Avry
It is just the lighting. All hinges are the exact same. I wouldn’t put mismatched one’s on 😉
