DIY – Easy Caramel Apple Wooden Block
I love to create projects that are quick and easy. Items that can be created in less that 30 minutes and with minimal supplies or things I already have on hand. If you are like me this Easy Caramel apple wooden block is the project for you.
To create your own Caramel apple wooden block you will need:
Wooden block any size ( mine is 5.5″ by 6.5″)
Scrapbooking paper – Style of your choice
paint – color of your choice
paint brushes
personal cutting machine
vinyl – We used brown
Jute
hot glue and hot glue gun
scissors
Start by painting you block of wood and allow to dry. I chose a cream color but any fall color of your choice will do.
Using your personal cutting machine type in the phrase caramel apples .25, select desired font and layout for your block.
Cut your phrase onto the vinyl color of your choice. Weed out vinyl and use transfer tape to place the phrase onto the side of your wooden block.
Cut a piece of scrapbook paper 1-2 inches in width. Hot glue the scrapbook paper on the side of your wooden block.
Wrap jute around the scrapbook paper edge and tie off.
It is exciting to add this fun caramel apple wooden block onto my tiered tray along with my faux candy apples. Who doesn’t love a good gooey caramel apple?
