DIY Glittered picture frame stand
DIY Glittered picture frame stand
I have a funny story about why I made this picture frame stand. The nurse’s at my sons Dr’s office had cupcakes waiting for us at our last appointment. They got in a little tiff about who in the office actually gave them to us. Afterwards I decided to make them something fun to put on their desks at work. I knew it needed to involve cupcakes some how. I have had a bunch of frames, candlesticks and these decorative wooden frames sitting in my craft room so, I decide to combine all of them to make this cute picture frame stand. First I painted the candle stick and regular frame white then I painted the decorative wooden frame pink. While it was still wet, I coated it in glitter. After all pieces were dry I glued the pink decorative frame inside the regular frame and then glued that on top of the candle stick. I used E6000 to glue all of the pieces together. I tied a few ribbons around the base to give it a fun finish. I searched on pinterest for cupcake prints and there were so many cute ones! I finally settled on this one

Such a cute idea to add some sparkle and new life to a ‘normal’ frame. 🙂
