I Don’t Need Luck St. Patrick’s Day Board
I found this idea for this St Patrick’s Day Board here. I basically followed her same idea. It was really simple to re-create. First I measured some scrap boards I had. Then created the wording on my silhouette to match the size of my board. I cut the wording in white vinyl. Next, I painted my board a lime green, because that is what I had on hand. I bought a gallon of lime green paint about 2 years ago in the mis-tints section for $5 and it’s only about half gone. I usually try and make do with supplies I already have. After, the paint was completely dry. I applied the vinyl lettering.
Next I used some bakers twine in a lime green color and a glittered foam shamrock. I purchased both of these items at the dollar store. I love great finds at the dollar store, like the bakers twine, I was so surprised to find it there and it came in a 3pack with different colors. I wrapped the bakers twine around the board as many times as I thought I would like (yeah! real technical around here). Then I punched a hole in the center of the sharmrock, then tied the sharmrock into place using the bakers twine. At this point you could call it done. I decided to put a dot of hot glue on the back of the shamrock to hold it exactly in the place I wanted. Another quick St. Patrick project done!

This is super cute. I can see myself displaying it all year long, not just for St. Patrick’s Day.

What a sweet way to celebrate the ones you love and St. Patrick’s Day. I love using things I already have at home too. Crafters are the biggest hoarders.

What a sweet board with a beautiful message! We have cupboards full of craft supplies and I should see what fun project like this we could come up with

What a sweet board! Definitely a great gift for family and friends on a day when gift giving is usually overlooked.

Aww what a sweet quote! I won’t have time to make this before St. Patrick’s Day but it’s so cute I could seriously make it any time of year, especially since we’re Irish.

I actually never made any type of crafts for St. Patrick’s Day. However, that is such a sweet, thoughtful craft!
