Easy Fall Leaf Board

It seems like I go through phases in crafting. Sometimes I love lots of ribbon and details. Next thing I know I am loving simple and clean craft projects. Recently I have been on a simple crafting project binge. This Easy Fall Leaf Board is one of those simple projects that can come together in about 30 minutes and doesn’t need a lot of embellishments to make it look classy. Take a little help from the store on this project and purchase a pre-made slat board and pre-cut fall leaf. I have even seen items like these at the dollar tree, this project is also very budget-friendly.

To create your own Easy Fall Leaf Board you will need:

pre-made slat board

pre-cut wooden leaf

White, brown, black paint

paint brushes

hot glue gun and glue

Start by painting your wooden leaf white and allow it to completely dry. You can use a heat gun or fan to speed up the drying process.

Mix black and brown paint with water to create a faux glaze. Brush glaze over the dried white wooden leaf. Wipe off excess glaze with a paper towel or rag and allow it to dry.

Hot glue the leaf in the center of your pre-made slat board.

That’s it an easy and tasteful decoration to add to any fall ensemble.
