In the Irish mood – Wood shamrock hanger

Remember last month when I made the hanger with the valentine heart? Well I switched it out and made a shamrock for St. Patrick’s day. I love this little idea as each month it is fun to come up with something new to put on the hanger! I have been in the Irish mood. To make your own Shamrock just take a piece of pine wood and hand trace a shamrock onto the wood with a pencil.

You can cut out the shamrock with a scroll saw then drill some small holes in the corners to fish a ribbon or wire through.

I had to figure out the difference between a 4 leaf clover and a shamrock. A shamrock is 3 clovers instead of 4! I wonder what it would be like to be Irish and celebrate in Ireland on St. Patrick’s day.

Making  some cute “LUCK” blocks and of course my favorite Subway art added to my festive decor’!

There are so many more projects I am working on for St. Patrick’s day! A lot of fun creative ideas going on in my head and just not enough time to complete them all! Just wishing I could stay home from work and craft all day.
