Fall Burlap & Subway art board

After I put away all of my Halloween decorations, I began to look around and realized I only have a few fall and Thanksgiving decorations.   I was kind of sad!  I think we often overlook Thanksgiving.  I am on a mission to make some Fallish home décor.  I love a good subway art board,  found a similar one in this etsy shop of course they were no longer offering this item for sale.

I needed to make my own, First I painted a scrap board white. Next  I made up template similar to the subway art I saw.   I decided to use orange and brown vinyl for mine.  I cut the vinyl using my personal cutting machine and the centered and applied it to my board.   I left a large space at the top for the burlap banner I created.  I applied the word fall to the burlap banner using white rub on’s.  I hot glued the fall banner at the top of my board.

I loved how it turned out so much that I decided to make a few smaller boards for gifts.  This was a fun easy way to help bring that fall touch into my home.
