Give Thanks Rustic Thanksgiving Wooden Sign

I have been creating rustic wooden crafts for years. So happy to say that I still love this style of crafting. Rustic crafting is somewhat timeless. Still having pieces that I created almost 10 years ago and decorate with every year. This Give thanks rustic wooden sign is very simple to create and I feel like it represents everything about a traditional Thanksgiving.

To create your own Give Thanks Rustic Wooden Sign you will need:

Wooden slat board (I created mine using a left over pallet)

Personal cutting machine

vinyl (your choice of color)

Fall Ribbons of your choice

Embelliments

hot glue gun and glue

Start by designing the Give Thanks phrase using your personal cutting machine. Cut the phrase out of vinyl, I chose to use a dark brown. Weed out vinyl and apply a transfer tape.

Apply vinyl to the far right side of your rustic board, leaving room on the left side for ribbon and embellishments.

Tie ribbons around the left side of your board and glue any embellishments in place.

Sometimes vinyl will lift if it is put onto a rough surface such as this especially if it is displayed outside. To avoid this from happening you can add a thin layer of Mod Podge over the top to seal the vinyl to the wood. This also helps to make the craft last a lot longer.

Now you have a Give Thanks Rustic Wooden sign to add to your Fall and Thanksgiving home decor.
