Glitter Bunny
Glitter Bunny
This is such a fun statement piece for Easter and it is very simple to create. First I purchased a frame from the dollar store, then spray painted the frame purple. Next, I chose a fun bright polka dot scrapbook paper for the back ground. I cut the scrapbook paper to the size of the frame and glued it to the backing of the frame. Someone had given me these darling white bunny chipboard cut out’s. If you don’t have the chipboard cut out’s like I did then you could easily print off a bunny silhouette on cardstock and hand cut these or use a personal cutting machine to create the bunny head. Before I covered my bunny in glitter I made a little template for the inside of the ears. I chose some patterned scrapbook paper and hand cut out the ears. I covered the bunny head in a good layer of mod podge and then dumped glitter all over it! before I embellished the bunny I Let it completely dry. Next I used the double sided sticky pop up dots to attach the inside of the ears to the bunny. I tied a ribbion around one ear and attached a felt flower with hot glue. Last I hot glued the bunny centered in the frame.

That’s adorable. I love when folks decorate for each holiday – this would be a great way for non-crafty me to come on board.

STINKIN’ CUTE!! I would pick a solid (lime) green background for the glitter bunny. And it would make such a cute card, too!
