Easter Glitter Block

Easter Glitter Block

For this project I used a scrap block of wood measuring 6″ x 5″. I painted my block a fun lime green color then while it was drying I went online and  purchased the Easter design for the block off of the silhouette online store. Silhouette is having a great sale right now. I cut the Easter design out on my Silhouette using a bright bubble gum pink vinyl. Once the paint was dry on my block, I placed the vinyl on my block.

For this project I also had the pleasure of working with consumer crafts. They have a wide variety of craft supplies that are very affordable for crafters. I was able to use their Glitter Dusting Spray in silver for this project. The glitter dust will also add shimmer to paper, floral items and even fabric projects. After all the vinyl was in place on my block I placed my block inside a box to spray it with this fun Glitter spray the box helps to contain the overspray.  I like a lot of glitter so I went over my block 3 different times with the Glitter Spray. It only took a few minutes to get the results I was looking for and it dries really fast!  I really like how fine the glitter particles are and it gave my project the right amount of shimmer and shine! I feel like it took this simple project up notch.

Check out Consumer crafts  they have kids crafts, floral supplies, jewelry making supplies, party items, scrapbook and craft storage items. They also carry a great variety of seasonal items. The best part is you can shop and browse all from the comfort of your own home.
