Halloween count down boards

Everyone loves a countdown board!  I love it when I get to use and repurpose random things I have laying around.  I had purchased this blue scalloped square tin for .25, Avry has had this unfinished wood board at her house for ever.  When we talked about making some countdown boards for prizes for our Halloween party, both of us knew we had just the item that would work!  I started out by spray painting my blue tin with chalkboard paint. Avry painted her board all black with craft paint.   Next I cut 2 different countdown style wording out of vinyl, using my personal cutting machine.  Avry looped several ribbons around my scalloped tin to dress it up, next I added the vinyl Days until Halloween at the top of the tin and we attached some chalk with black string.   For the wooden board we centered the vinyl saying and applied it to the board, I cut a pumpkin out of chalkboard vinyl so you can change the numbers each day.
