Halloween welcome sign

halloween welcome

Have you looked at this fabulous adult party kit the BHG is offering?  It is amazing!!!  Avry and I will be hosting our 5th annual Halloween party this year.  It can’t believe it  that this is our 5th year hosting.  I have been scouring the internet and pinterest for some fresh ideas.   I came across this party that Loralee Lewis did for BHG and guess what it has a free printable party plan!   I will be using a few of those free printables and re-creating some of her fabulous designs.

The first item that was up for re-creation was her welcome sign.  Sadly there was no free printable for this sign,  I knew I had to have one.   I got busy plugging away on my personal cutting machine, trying out a million fonts until I got pretty close to recreating the sign.  If you remember a while back when I made this amazing clock.   I cut extra bracket boards (Yeah like 13 extra, I’m crazy I know).  I had plans to make some for Christmas gifts.   When I saw her sign, I knew the bracket boards were perfect!   I grabbed one or maybe two of those boards, because I knew Avry would need one of these little babies.   I painted the bracket boards black.   While they were drying I cut the welcome sign in white vinyl.  After the boards were dry I applied the wording onto the boards.   That was it!  so far this is one of my new favorites,  I can’t wait to put it out on my front porch!
