Halloween wood fall glittered Candy Corn Trio

There are so many fun aspects of Halloween and one of them is candy corn! I love how there are different flavors of candy corn  but rather than eating them what I like even better is decorating with them.

While out garage saling one Saturday we found these great wood candy corn blocks. They were unpainted but ready to go! $1.00 for both sets wouldn’t be a price we would pass up. Sorry about the blurry pictures sometimes I’m not the best at remembering to take photos as I craft. Snapping a photo at the last second seems to be my specialty.

It’s pretty easy to take a set like this and have it painted and have it finished in less than an hour. I painted the whole set white then once it was dry I taped off the top into three sections. Using fall colors is easy as they are so pretty this time of year. Once the colors were picked and while still wet I added glitter onto the top of the paint to give each little candy corn sparkle!

These trios turned into such a great sets to give as prizes at my Halloween party and I love how they turned out!
