Octagon Bee Happy wood Signs

This project is definitely one that is fun for summer! Check out these Bee Happy wood Signs with an Emphasis on the “Bee” part. Bee’s are fun to decorate the home with especially if they are Honey Bee’s. I’ve seen a lot of bee décor pop up over the past few years and thought it would be fun to jump on board.

Using any type of wood is fine for this project you will just need a saw to cut the octagon shape. Using any other shape will work too but we think the Octagon was something unique and different. The size of the sign is also up to the creator! The size we did fits perfectly on a front door.

Once your board is cut then you will paint the board an off white color and lightly sand the edges to give it a bit of rustic look.

While the paint is drying is when the fun begins! Head over to your personal cutting machine and start designing! There are so many cute free bee SVG’s out there on the internet. We did a search for Bee images and came up with quite a few.

Get creative with fonts and colors! Black and grey are our color of choice for these signs. Cut those babies out on the machine and of course use transfer tape to move them over to your wood Octagon.

You can drill holes in the top and pull jute through to hang the sign or use a frame hanger on the back of the wood. It is whatever you choose! Embellish the top of the sign using cute ribbon, flowers, netting or whatever you like!
