Herringbone valentine board
Herringbone valentine board
I am in love with the color GOLD right now!!! (I think I’ve mentioned this before) But I’ve noticed that the color Gold has made a huge come back and it is so popular right now. I knew I wanted to create some Valentine décor that included a gold element so here’s what I’ve come up with. A while back I had purchased these permanent gold markers. I created a herringbone stencil using the silhouette machine then I went and picked some medium size wood flooring pieces out of my wood pile. I painted the wood piece white first, after it was dry I attached the stencil that I had created. I colored in each open space using the gold marker. Next I cut a heart in pink vinyl and the word love in black vinyl then placed them on the board over top of the gold herringbone. Of course I love how it turned out and it was such a subtle way to add some gold into my existing Valentine décor.
