Hogs and Kisses Valentine box & Free printable tag
With Valentines day a few short weeks away, I was looking for a simple gift I could make for co-worker and friends. I came across and idea with the saying Hogs and Kisses, I always love a pun or play on words. I knew I wanted to create something with a pig on it. I set off looking and found this cut file in the Silhouette design store. If you search under pig or pig box your will see they have several designs. I purchased this design and cut it using my personal cutting machine. If you don’t have a cutting machine or want to purchase the cut file you can also use the free printable I created and tie it to a bag of Kisses.
To create your own Hogs and Kisses Valentine box you will need:
Silhouette design store piggy belly box template
Pink cardstock
black card stock
white card stock
Patterned paper
pink ink pad
tacky glue
foam dots
hot glue
craft sticks
ribbon or tulle
embellishments
Kisses or other candies
free printable hogs and kisses tags
First cut out your piggy belly box and accent pieces using your personal cutting machine. Fold and assemble your piggy box and attach flaps with tacky glue.
Ink the edges of the face, feet, and tail pink cardstock layers.
Glue a strip of black cardstock behind the cut out of the eyes on the face layer.
Glue a black strip of card stock behind the snout and add a glue dot to the back of the snout, then attach to the face of the pig.
Attach the ears to the pigs face using pop up dots.
Add heart layer to the feet using pop up dots.
Glue pig face onto the assembled pig box.
Glue feet and tail onto the assembled pig box.
Print and cut hogs and kisses tags. Glue tag to top of craft stick using hot glue, tie tulle or ribbon around craft stick and add desired embellishments.
Fill your pig belly box with Kisses or other treats and stick hogs and kisses tag into box.
Now you can share this puny Hogs and Kisses Valentine box treat with friends, co-workers, or classmates.
