Hot Cocoa Signs

With winter in full force here and temperatures reaching below zero!  Who wouldn’t want  Hot Cocoa bar set up?  Actually Avry has insisted that I needed one for myself for a few years now.  If you remember a while back I made her a cocoa bar set for Christmas.  So, this year she made me a darling box to hold all of my hot chocolate and toppings.

I needed to have something to go with this cocoa box.  I searched the web and found instruction’s and a free cut file for this darling cocoa sign on whipperberry blog.  I fell in love with the sign and got to work making my own.   I glued to pieces of leftover wood flooring together and used her free cut file to cut the design out of white vinyl.  I applied the hot cocoa design to center of my wood flooring board and then I got busy with a ton of other projects and it sat unfinished!

Then in the meantime I discovered  Houseon77th on instagram and she also had a darling cocoa sign.  I saw that houseon77th also had an etsy shop so I was excited to go see what she had for sale only to find out her shop was closed for the holiday season.

I’ve waited and waited and her shop is still closed, I decided to make a  sign similar to hers because I liked the size and thought that it would be a better fit for the space I have.  The Houseon77th design is more detailed and just oh so darling!! I plan on watching her shop and hopefully she will reopen and maybe I can give one of her darling signs a new home!

While I was making my smaller Houseon77th sign I also finished the whipperberry hot cocoa sign.  I plan on finding a special someone to give this sign to with a little cocoa set.
