How to make a wreath from Coffee Filters
I am laughing still from doing this craft. I never imagined how fun it could be do dye coffee filters and I’m not kidding this project cost $2.00
First: A package of Coffee filters, Ink stamp refill dye, water, plastic containers, a wreath, hot glue and some time is all you need! Gather your supplies! We took the ink and dripped it into each container then filled the rest of the container with water. Depending on the color we wanted to achieve is how much color we put into the water. I’m thinking you could probably get the same effect with food coloring.
Dipping the filters one at a time is tedious work so we plunged a handful of filters in at a time. Then set them out on the lawn to dry out. Seperating each filter helped them dry faster once dry we divided them into stacks so we could scrunch them to look like flowers and hot glued them onto our $1.00 wreath from the dollar store!
The colors were so bright and colorful that I had a hard time deciding what color to do my wreath. I finally settled on a pink and green wreath to accessorize with some Watermelon stuff for my front porch for the month of June.
Here is my finished wreath! Now just to add a cute watermelon banner to it. Maybe some glitter to the edges??
