Ice Skate Rentals

Here is another great way to decorate for January, using Ice Skates.  Avry found several cute ideas using ice skates and then I jumped on the wagon and made up this fun little sign for Ice Skate Rentals.  I started out with some old kitchen décor boards.  They were in the donate pile and then I thought I could reuse those, I pulled them out and gave them a coat of gray paint.  While they were drying, I set up a template with the wording and pair of ice skates.  I cut the wording out of a teal vinyl using my personal cutting machine.  I cut the vinyl about 4″ short in width, to leave room for the cute snowflake ribbon.  I placed the vinyl closer to the right edge of the board and applied it.  Next it was time to embellish this fun board.  I tied the snowflake ribbon on the left side of the board.  Then added a small metal snowflake to the bottom right corner of the board, I also hot glue some small jewels on the ice skates that look like lacing holes.
