Just Dance Dream team – involving the family!

Thank you to Ubisoft for picking me to be a member of the Just Sweat Dream Team and sponsoring this fitness series. Please click here to learn more about Ubisoft. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective. All opinions are my own.

Is summer really over? where did August go? Such a fun active summer we had and now that we are back into routine I am proud to say I’ve dropped some pounds! I can’t wait to reveal it all at the end! Kaden on the other hand has gained some but I do believe it is because he took on lifting weights 3 days a week now! I keep telling him he is gaining muscle but he is trying hard not to get frustrated with it. We have been meeting our goals on the water intake which has made both of us feel a lot better!~ Sometimes I will add some lemon to my water and lots of ice!

Some days it is hard not to get discouraged but I think that is par for anyone who is trying to lose weight. I find myself doing good somedays and other days not so good on the food part. I have always loved to exercise because I feel better after I do but I wish I had more self control with food! In talking with Kaden he is a lot like I am in that areas- he loves food to.

Now that the nights are getting cooler and the sun is going down sooner we are spending less time outside in the evenings and more time indoors. It will only get worse as we get into winter so instead of sitting on our butts in front of the t.v. we have decided to do Just Dance Family nights!!! WOOT WOOT! See how much fun my four kids have had with Just Dance 3.

Look at them shake it! (Kaden age 16, Savanna age 14, Maeli age 12 and Samantha age 11)

Kaden is so funny when he puts a little “hip” into it! Check him out here!

Two of my girls get laughing because it is so much fun! Check their dance moves out!!

So as a mom I am glad they have something to keep them off the couch this winter!

If there is one thing that I am learning is that the weight didn’t come on over night and it isn’t going to come off over night. Staying positive and believing in one another has been one of the only things that has kept me going in this journey. But I have no complaints as I know I am on the right path to becoming a more healthy me!
