Keep Calm Anchor Board

Back in February I helped decorate for a women’s conference.  We used a nautical theme for this conference and this is when I started falling in love with the nautical and beach decor!  We had 30 tables to make centerpieces for so we decided on 3 different themes for the tables so  I ended up making 10 of these keep calm anchors boards for 10 of the 30 tables.  We placed them next to a lantern and fresh flowers in a mason jar.  To do these I painted the boards white and then created a template with the words and anchor using my sure cuts a lot program.  I cut the saying out of vinyl and then applied it on top of the painted boards.  I gave the edges a quick sand for the worn rustic look.  I had forgotten that I made these cute boards and found this while getting out my summer decor.  I decided it looks great and fits in with all of my new beach decor.
