Knife, fork and spoon quick craft

Knife, Fork and Spoon kitchen décor.

This is one of those projects that got started and shoved to the side for almost a year. The Knife, Fork and Spoon in this project came from a random junk drawer at my girlfriends house. I spray painted them red then they ended up in a random junk drawer in my house. They sat there, and sat there, and sat there. Until I finally got tired of that junk drawer and cleaned it out. Then the set made it down to my craft room where they sat again.

I am redoing my family room in my basement and if you remember my post on these pillows you will remember that I am doing my basement in Red and turquoise. Not aqua but bright BOLD turquoise. Well, my basement family room also has a kitchenette attached to it that hosts a microwave, sink and full sized refrigerator. I also have a small dining area with a table that will hopefully someday get refinished. Anyways, this kitchenette has needed some spice to it so I decided to add this Knife fork and spoon craft right above the kitchenette sink.

I gathered my supplies – An 8×10 frame, turquoise and black scrapbook paper and my red spray painted utensils.

I glued the scrapbook paper to a piece of cardboard then glued the utensils on top of the scrapbook paper (that was already in the frame) I let it dry overnight then hung it up! Super easy to do. Doesn’t it just add a little touch above my kitchenette sink?

Here is one last picture of it up close.  I love how my basement colors are starting to come together.
