Lucky like a Four Leaf Clover

I have always loved the saying Lucky like a four leaf clover. I just haven’t found any printables or ideas with this saying that I loved or really cared for. This year for some reason, I am really amping up my St Patrick’s décor’. I accepted my own challenge to create something with this saying to display in my home. Last year over at Burton Avenue blog she offered this free cut file of these darling shamrocks with in a shamrock. Unfortunately, now it is no longer a freebie (dang if you missed out!). But you can purchase other items in her etsy shop. She has really darling cut files and also has a Friday freebie every week on her blog. Definitely give her blog a visit if you have never been over there. I used the shamrock cut file from burton avenue. I cut the shamrocks in a lime green vinyl, then I set up the wording “Lucky like a” on my silhouette machine. I cut the wording in black vinyl. Next I painted a longer skinny piece of wood white. After is was dry. I applied the vinyl onto the board. I was going to add some ribbon or trim but, decided I liked it simpler and plain.
