Mini cocoa bar with free printables
Make your own mini cocoa bar with free printables
Avry is the girl who has everything!!! This year for Christmas, I was having a hard time figuring out a gift for her. She kept talking about how she wanted to make a cocoa bar or station. Her plan was that it could be small enough to leave out all winter long! Seeing how busy she was with work and school. I decided this would be a perfect gift for me to give to her. First I made a tray using an old frame I had kicking around my house. It is one of those long more narrow frames that could look like a glass platter. I painted the trim wood a red color, then added some Christmas striped wrapping paper on the inside of the glass to show through. Next I purchased these candy/cookie jars on clearance at Michaels for .50 cents each. I took the knobs off of the lids and spray painted them all the same color of red. I then purchased hot cocoa, tea, marshmallows and flavored syrups. I filled the jars with some fun toppings and then made the chalkboard labels to tie to the lids. I have included a free printable for the cocoa bar tags. (See below) I took some pictures of the cocoa bar on my counter and again on Avry’s counter!

I’m crazy about peppermint so I’d be making myself some peppermint hot cocoa. This is an adorable idea for kids.

Oh my seven year old would absolutely love this! She has been asking for hot cocoa daily lately and this would be such a fun way to let her create her own cup each time just the way she wants it…
