How to make a framed vintage Christmas tree
Framed Vintage Christmas Tree Art
Do you have an over abundance of trinkets, buttons, broken necklace pieces or old rings? Don’t throw them away! This next Christmas project fits perfectly in my front office in my home. This framed art was made by my friend Krystal.
She took an old frame (found at a garage sale of course) then she took some scrapbook paper that looked like a piece of sheet music (or you can actually use sheet music) then away she glued… Trinkets, buttons, gems & jewels all into the shape of a christmas tree. To top it off she bedazzled it with a little glitter!
Who can NOT love glitter? Even my husband puts up with it because he loves me!

Any glass on the frame or is the tree glued right onto the paper?
Avry

Glue E6000 – Mine is not on glass but you could add it to glass

How could you add battery operated lights to somethi.g like this?
Avry
When gluing the embellishments onto the paper just poke small holes in between the embellishments and push the small lights through. I would think it would be fairly easy! 🙂

Do you cut off the pin backs on the brooches for them to lay flat?
Avry
Yes, just use a pair of wire cutters and clip them off.
