Marquee Valentine heart

Marquee Valentine Heart

After Avry made us the giant snowflake marquee. She talked about making a valentine heart also so, I decided to surprise her!  I found a few giant pieces of plywood in a dumpster (Yes, I went dumpster diving oh the things I’ll do for crafts) I traced a giant heart on to the wood and then with the help of my husband we cut out the hearts with a jig saw and then drilled holes around the outside edge. I wanted to drill holes in the center for the wording, but couldn’t figure out how to make it readable. Instead, I cut a template on my silhouette machine and glittered the word Mi Amor’ in the center of the heart.  I did this after I had painted the heart pink of course! This ended up being a lot easier than I thought and it only took a few hours with drying time for the paint and glitter.
