Mini Christmas Snow globes from Gumball machines
I’m always looking for new fun and interesting ways to decorate. So, when I came across these darling winter scene gum ball machines at Kikicomin on instagram , I knew I needed to create one for myself. The only problem was I didn’t have a gum ball machine. I looked at several different options to create my own mini Christmas Snow globe gum ball machine, I wanted it to be budget friendly. I ended up finding some mini gum ball machines at the dollar store which was perfect! I purchased some mini trees , Snow, gold paint, and snowmen at the craft store.
Once home I took apart the gum ball machines and then spray painted the base and top gold.
After the base and top were dry, I filled the base with fake snow and then put the globe on top of the base. I added hot glue to the bottom of the mini tree and placed it down inside the globe, I repeated the same steps with the snowman.
I replaced the top of the gum ball machine and now I have a darling mini Christmas Snow globe. This project was very simple and inexpensive to create, besides the dry time on the paint the project came together in under 10 minutes. These could make fun gifts to give away to neighbors and friends.
How do you like to decorate for the holidays?

i love this idea. gumball machines always seem like a good idea, and get discarded quickly!
