Mod Podge 4th of July platters
We made these at craft night 2 weeks ago. Very simple and inexpensive! Platters are actually pizza platters found at the dollar store. Cut out whatever scrapbooking paper you would like to use (make sure it is long enough to hang over the edges) then begin mod podging the paper into place. I mod podged the bottom first then took my fingers and pushed the paper into the grooves of the platter to conform the paper to the platter. A thin layer of modpodge over the top and let it dry.
Once the mod podge is dry you can spray each platter with a clear epoxy spray to give it a gloss finish. I wouldn’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher but they wipe down easily after each use! I plan on making some of these for each holiday. Or it might be fun to make some smaller one’s to put holiday treats on for your neighbor!
