The Odd Life of Timothy Green Movie Review

The Odd Life of Timothy Green movie screening

Cindy and Jim Green are told they are unable to conceive. So, they dream up their ideal offspring and write the child’s characteristics and life events on pieces of paper, including “scoring the winning goal.” The Greens place the notes in a box and bury the box in their backyard garden.

After a stormy night, a 10-year-old arrives at their doorstep, claiming the Greens as his own. Soon they realize that the child, named Timothy, is far more special than they originally thought

While in New York city this past week I had the opportunity to attend a movie screening for the movie “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” I was beyond excited to preview this movie as it is a Walt Disney production so I knew not only would it be good but it would also be viewer friendly for my children. This film is rated PG so it is very clean and kid friendly.

I found this movie to be inspiring and lighthearted.  Not only was it a fun plot to follow but it was also geared around the family dynamics, morals and values and as a mother I really liked that aspect.

The world is filled with a lot of bad influencial material so it was nice to see something clean and made for all movie goers.

The all star cast includes:  Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton, Dianne Wiest, CJ Adams, Rosemarie DeWitt, Ron Livingston, M. Emmet Walsh, Odeya Rush, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lois Smith and Common.
