Paint Stick Easter Bunny tutorial

Paint Stick Easter Bunny

I have seen a few different versions of this around the web except they are mostly all bigger and made from pallets or large pieces of wood. Here is my small version.
Take about 10 to 12 paint stir sticks and line them up. (but don’t line up the handle part to match) If you do line all the handle part of the stick it may look funny. I staggered mine and you can see how I used two paint sticks to glue the other sticks together (this picture is a back view of how it should look when all glued together)

Once they are all glued together I did a light coat of white paint. I even left a few parts bare to show the natural wood. Next step is to create a bunny template on the cricut and tape down to the painted wood sticks

Pick the color you want your bunny to be then sponge it in on the taped down template. It’s okay if a little seeps under the template as long as it isn’t too much!
Once dry this is what your project should look like! This seriously only took 15-20 minutes. Fast fun craft!
