Patriotic July table runner

Simple, fast and easy DIY burlap, iron on vinyl patriotic 4th of July table runner. Perfect to line your festive 4th of July backyard barbecue.

During the month of July we are patriotic and celebrate all month long.  Here in Utah we get to celebrate the 4th of July and also Pioneer day on the 24th. When I pulled out and set up my 4th of July décorations in late June I noticed that I was lacking in the patriotic décor department.  I only had a few pieces of patriotic décor and the pieces I did have seemed like they weren’t flowing together nicely. I decided to create a Patriotic table runner to help my home feel more patriotic and balanced. If you have been following our blog I guess you could say I have been on a table runner kick.  You can check out my Summer Table runner for complete step by step instructions and how to make you own.  The iron on vinyl makes is fun to use on fabric. It is quick and easy to create a design for any season or holiday. 
You can embellish yours any way that you like but I sewed on a little ribbon.

For this Patriotic table runner I chose to use a tan burlap, red glitter iron on vinyl and patriotic ribbon.  This also could be the perfect addition to an outdoor 4th of July barbecue tablescape! It would add just the right touch of patriotism to your picnic.
