Pumpkin on a pedestal

pumpkin on a pedestal makeover

This is the time of year when all those tacky Styrofoam pumpkins starting floating around.   I love fake pumpkins just now the ones that really look fake.   I had purchased a few of these really fake looking pumpkins at a yard sale over the summer.  I had plans of revamping them and making them look amazing!   I finally got around to getting one of these pumpkins made up in a classy Halloween style.

To get started you will need:

1 fake plastic pumpkin

1 Candlestick ( I purchased mine at the  dollar store)

paint

Modge Podge

glue sticks

glitter

ribbon

Step 1:  paint the stem of your pumpkin and Candlestick ( I chose gold) and let dry

Step 2:  Paint your pumpkin ( I chose black)  I used a fine tip brush to paint around the stem area.
