Quick and Easy Birthday Treat Cup idea

I am always looking for quick and easy ideas for birthday gifts.  I recently came across this purple gift idea from fun squared.  I really loved the idea of filling up a fun cup with treats and adding a tag with a cute saying.  I have several friends, neighbors, and co-works that I like to do a little something for on their birthdays.  I knew that I would be mass producing several of these treat cups so, I went to my local dollar store and began the search for cups and items to fill them.  As I looked at items to fill the cups I decided that it would be more cost-effective to purchase large bags of candy and a favorite drink to add into the cup.  I didn’t worry as much about the color of the items going inside the cup.  I made sure to purchase purple and teal cups to go along with the tags provided by fun squared. If you need a quick and inexpensive birthday idea this is perfect,  I was able to mass produce 30 of these cups within an hour of time.

To create your own Quick and Easy Birthday Treat Cup you will need:

Purple or Teal cup with lid

canned soda

wrapped candy

other desired fillers (I added bath bombs)

Free Fun Squared printable
cardstock

scissors

ribbons

To assemble your Birthday treat cups add one 12 ounces canned soda to the bottom of each cup.  On top of the soda add wrapped candy and other desired items, place the lid back onto the cup.  Print the free printable from fun squared onto cardstock and then cut out the printed design.

Tie printed tag onto the straw of the cup and add desired ribbons to decorate.
