Quick and Easy Mini Boo and Banner Sign

I have noticed this Halloween season that many are decorating with a plain black and white color scheme.   I would have to say I actually love how clean it looks!  I wish that I could change all my decor to just plain black and white but, I simply have too much invested into the Halloween decorations I already have.  I did create this fun Quick and Easy Mini Boo and Banner Sign, with the black and white theme in mind and I really like how simple and clean looking it is.

To create your own Quick and Easy Mini Boo and Banner Sign you will need:

unfinished wood framed sign measuring 6″ by 6″

jute rope

black and white fabric scraps

white paint

black vinyl

personal cutting machine

hot glue gun and glue sticks

You can purchase an unfinished wood framed sign measuring 6″ by 6″ or build your own using this tutorial.  Paint the background board in your frame white and the frame of the sign dark brown or black if needed.  Using your personal cutting machine design the word “BOO!” and cut it out of black vinyl.  Place the wording towards the bottom center of your board.  cut 3 small pennants from the black and white fabric and hot glue them to a piece of jute then, glue the pennants across the top left of your sign. There you have it a Quick and Easy Mini Boo and Banner Sign.  This would be a great decor piece to add to a tray, on top of cupboards or any vignette.  What color scheme do you like to use for Halloween?
